We take the search engines lightly by believing that our personal information has been gathered by way of the social accounts whereas it is not true. The surveillance technology is another significant thing that has compromised the privacy of an individual. They are doing so for some security purposes but actually, they are destroying the anonymity of the individuals. The rate of cybercrime is increasing because of the advancement in technology. The online system is another prominent factor in the increasing cybercrime rate (Engelfriet, 2017).
History sniffing of e-mails
Sniffing is an important term in the field of information technology. When a person signs in to his account then he believes that this account is private and nobody can read the emails that are being sent or received without prior permission of him. But he is wrong by way of history sniffing the email servers can read each and every email of the account. There are several other ways as well by way of which online privacy can be compromised.
