Black Hat SEO, A Sure Way To Get Banned By Google

The Black Hat SEO (black hat) is a technique of SEO that is not in accordance with the recommendations of the search engines and can be penalized by them. Some practices may even be illegal and therefore punishable by law. The goal for the referrer who is doing it is to rank on the first SERPs (search results pages of a search engine) of strategic keywords.
This is a short-term strategy, a site that does not meet the guidelines of search engines that can be positioned in a stable and sustainable manner the requests of interest. Let’s take stock of some black hat SEO techniques regularly used to boost website visits.

Cloaking

Cloaking is a “black hat” practice of configuring a web server so that it does not present the same page of HTML content to users and search engine crawlers. For example, keywords can be inserted into a page only if the agent signature matches a search engine. If this technique is found, the search engine will penalise the site that will see its positioning degrade rapidly.

Automatic generation of backlinks

The use of automated programs or software to create many inbound links to a site is strongly discouraged by Google. The goal is to massively increase the number of backlinks pointing at a site, nevertheless they can have a negative impact on the ranking of it in the pages of search results.

Negative SEO

Rather than optimising its own SEO and gaining visibility, malicious people may try to penalise the natural SEO of a competitor. SEO negative of the most common methods are:
duplicate content and source code of web pages bulk spam of a site with inbound links of poor quality.

Satellite pages

Google defines’ satellite ‘as: ‘ pages or sites created for optimum ranking in search results in response to specific requests “. For example, multiple pages or domain names can target specific geographic areas. By clicking on these links in the search engines, users will be redirected to the same page.

Piracy of sites

Sometimes sites are pirated for malicious SEO purposes. Indeed, hackers may try to insert links and redirects from a site they hacked into a site they wish to reference better. More than the failure to respect the general guidelines of the search engines, this is above all an illegal act that can be condemned by law.

Effect of Black Hat SEO

Black hat seo means results can be short-lived and temporary. Immoral means of Internet marketing can harm the reputation and authenticity of your business.
Many websites were banned because they had resorted to unethical black hat strategies for their website promotion. Some or the other day Google would catch your website and if the unethical black hat strategies is used, your site would be blacklisted. Why take a risk? While ethical search engine optimisation produces results in a long time, you should always go for it as it is a safe option.

Unethical SEO named Black hat strategies violate the rules and regulations, it can have a negative impact on rankings. Your site may be blacklisted or banned if you make use of black hat SEO techniques. There can be serious risks involved with unethical SEO techniques. So better stay away from it! Even better, when you see anything that might be illegal or not allowed by Google, please do report them.
