Create a restore disk for Windows 10 on CD/DVD

It appears to be a hidden feature, you can still create a restore disk in Windows 10 and write it to a CD or DVD. In the new control panel this is not possible, but continue reading to see how to solve this issue! This tutorial will show you how to create a restore disk for Windows 10 on a CD or DVD.

  1. Open the old-fashioned control panel (right-click the start button, then press Control panel)
  2. In the search box type “Restore”, then choose “Create Back-up and restore (Windows 7)”
  3. In the left menu bar, choose “Create system restore disk”
  4. Choose your CD/DVD station and get to burning!
